FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE WHEN THE RAINBOW IS ENUF
The play is a series of 20 poems, performed by seven women, about the struggles faced by African- American women throughout their lives. Characters don't have names, just colors, i.e. "Lady in Yellow," "Lady in Purple." It deals with serious issues like rape, abortion and domestic violence.
